The UE ENSAM
Our association is the student's association of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ENSAM), a french "Grande Ecole".
We are one of the biggest student's association in Europe with about 3000 members and an annual budget of approx. € 4,5 millions.
We organize many events that you are invited to discover in this website. Many of them are open to all students.
Our "Grande Ecole"
ENSAM is a "Grande Ecole d'Ingénieurs" specialized in mechanical and industrial engineering: in France higher engineering studies more often take place in specialized institutions (called "Grandes Ecoles") than at the university.
ENSAM is a State institution of scientific, cultural and professional nature placed under the authority of the French Ministry in charge of higher education.
ENSAM is a single institution comprising:
- 8 graduate and research Centers (called CER) in Aix-en-Provence, Angers, Bordeaux, Châlons-en-Champagne, Cluny, Lille, Metz, Paris.
- 3 post-graduate Institutes: Chambéry, Chalon-sur-Saône, Bastia (Corse).
and 4 major fields of study and research:
- Product development, materials, processes
- Machine Design
- Methods and industrial systems
- Design and processes for sustainable development
